For a healthy lifestyle, what would be the best diet?

At SCK we don’t believe in diets; we believe in eating healthy, which equals eating whole food, plant-based.
We are all different, and we all have to listen to our bodies and learn what fits us best. But what is a reality is that studies show how eliminating all kinds of animal products from our plates helps in many ways to improve our health. And more than that is the solution for a healthy planet.

That said, if going cold turkey overwhelms you, there are three things that you should start to avoid. Dairy, Processed foods, and Sugar. They are very inflammatory, acidifying, and mucus generators.

Eliminating these three will help you achieve a healthier lifestyle. At SCK, our rule of thumb is that if we can’t pronounce the ingredient’s name or if it cannot grow, then we won’t eat it.

What does being vegan mean?

Veganism is more than just a diet; it is a lifestyle. Vegans indeed exclude meat, eggs, dairy products, and all other animal-derived ingredients. But it’s more than just what you eat. Usually, vegans are also conscious of all the other products they introduce in their lives, from their clothes to the furniture they use.

A tip to introduce more vegetables in your diet?

An easy way to start would be introducing green smoothies in your breakfast. It’s the best way of eating greens and fruits from the early morning! You will be consuming fiber, minerals, and vitamins without even noticing. But what you will see is the boost of energy through the morning! We promise! How do you live a healthy lifestyle?

Probably the best 6 tips for living a long healthy life would be the following:

  1. Be physically active every day, for at least 30 min.
  2. Eat a healthy diet rich in green leaves, colorful veggies, whole grains, fruits, and extra virgin oils.
  3. Maintain a healthy weight.
  4. Challenge your mind. Read books, learn new things, play games!
  5. Build a community with a secure network. Find people with the same interest and keep accountable.
  6. Don’t smoke!

What is meant by a sustainable lifestyle?

Living a sustainable life is attempting to reduce your own or society’s use of the Earth’s natural resources. For example, reducing their carbon dioxide footprint by changing transportation methods, reducing energy consumption, choosing brands that produce sustainably, or changing the diet.
